New Delhi, Jan. 28 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Maharashtra's Baramati on Thursday to attend the last rites of state's Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who passed away in a plane crash earlier this morning.
Pawar's last rites will be performed with full state honours at 11 am on Thursday.Union Home Minister's visit is seen as a mark of respect to the departed leader and a gesture of solidarity with the bereaved family. Senior leaders from various political parties are also expected to reach Baramati to pay their last respects.
