New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday evening attended the prayer meet of late actor Dharmendra at Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi. He also paid floral tribute to the late actor.
BJP chief JP Nadda, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, BJP MP Anurag Thakur, Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw were also present at the prayer meet.
They also met with Dharmendra's wife and politician, Hema Malini, and paid their condolences.
Dharmendra's passing marked the end of an era in Hindi cinema. Over the decades, he earned admiration for his versatility across genres and became one of the industry's most loved stars.
