New Delhi, March 1 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs to review the security situation in Manipur on Saturday in the national capital.
Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and other key officials also attended the meeting.
This review meeting follows the resignation of Chief Minister N Biren Singh on February 9 amid escalating violence and political instability that has plagued the state for nearly two years.
On February 13, the President's rule was imposed in Manipur after receiving a report from the state governor.
