New Delhi, May 1 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) VK Saxena and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday observed a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22.
They gathered to commemorate the Maharashtra and Gujarat statehood day.
Terrorists attacked tourists at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam on Tuesday, killing 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen while leaving several others injured, in one of the deadliest attacks in the valley since the 2019 Pulwama strike in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed.
