New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- President of the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP), Captain CS Randhawa, on Monday called for urgent inspections of all Boeing 787 aircraft for electrical system faults, citing recurring incidents that he said compromise flight safety.
His remarks follow the grounding of an Air India Boeing 787-8, earlier in the day, after a pilot reported a possible defect in the fuel control switch.
