New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), following a meeting with families allegedly victimised by the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls ahead of the State Assembly Elections 2026.

Banerjee took to X to post, claiming that "deeply flawed SIR" is marking living people "dead", stating that the stories she heard were heartbreaking.
