Mumbai, Jan. 27 -- A college in Kandivali West here received a bomb threat via e-mail on Monday, the police said. After receiving the information, a Police team reached the college and is investigating the matter.

As per the officials, the email was sent to the college's official email ID. Further details are awaited.

Earlier on Thursday, a school in the Jogeshwari-Oshiwara area of Mumbai received a bomb threat.

Acting on the bomb threat email, emergency response teams were dispatched to the school.

The local law enforcement, along with an explosive detection team were dispatched to launch a thorough investigation at the school to ensure the safety of the students and staff, as per the Mumbai Police.
