New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- The Coordination Committee of the All Bar Associations of Delhi on Monday decided to continue to abstain from judicial work for the second day on February 18 as well.
Advocates from all District Bar Association abstained from judicial work on Monday as they have been opposing the proposed Advocate Amendment Bill 2025 by the Government of India.
In a unanimous resolution, the Committee has decided to continue complete abstention from judicial work on February 18, 2025, in all District Courts in Delhi.
The Committee states that this action is in protest of the proposed bill, which it considers to be unjust, unfair and biased.
