Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 28 -- Congress MLA PC Vishnunath on Wednesday submitted a notice for an adjournment motion in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, seeking suspension of House proceedings to discuss alleged medical negligence in government hospitals and the crisis facing the state's health sector.

The notice cites the death of Bismir, a native of Kollamkonam, who allegedly died after not receiving adequate treatment at the Vilappilshala Government Hospital, as a matter of urgent public importance.
