New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- India is witnessing a sharp acceleration in the adoption of generative artificial intelligence, with consumers integrating the technology deeply into both daily life and purchasing decisions. According to BCG's Global Consumer Radar report, 62 per cent of Indian consumers already use GenAI tools, placing the country among the global leaders in adoption.

Indian consumers also stand out for their use of GenAI in shopping. About 64 per cent rely on these tools to guide brand and product choices, marginally higher than the 63 per cent who use them for work-related purposes. This signals a fundamental shift in how consumers research, evaluate, and purchase products.
