Nagpur, Sept. 20 -- Reacting to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's allegations over vote theft, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that it was "wrong" of him to give such a message after losing.

"Rahul Gandhi is the opposition leader. His party, the Congress, has functioned as the ruling party in this country for many years. The public decides who to elect. It is very wrong to give such a message after losing..." Pawar told ANI.

The remarks come a day after Rahul Gandhi said that India's Gen-Z would play an important role in protecting the Constitution and democracy, and pledged to support them in their fight against alleged "vote theft."
