Guwahati, June 25 -- Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday visited the under-construction site of the trumpet interchange, a part being developed with the bridge connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati over the Brahmaputra and took stock of its progress.

He asked the officials to ensure its early completion. The trumpet is a crucial link to the under-construction bridge over the Brahmaputra connecting the north and south of Guwahati.

Chief Minister Sarma, during his visit, talked to the officials associated with the construction of the trumpet junction and the bridge and asked them to ensure their early completion.
