Bengaluru, June 16 -- Lashing out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (Secular) for their 'politics over dead bodies' brand of politics, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Monday said that the Congress party would not politicise the Ahmedabad plane crash.

"Such an incident should not happen in any country...I will not do politics on this issue," Shivakumar told reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, adding, "We won't stoop to the lows of BJP and JDS and won't try to politicise the Ahmedabad plane crash."

He said that such plane crashes must not occur anywhere in the world since it has left several students of the BJ Medical College traumatised after witnessing the death of their peers.
