Srinagar, April 23 -- Jammu and Kashmir Minister Javed Ahmed Rana on Wednesday said that the Cabinet has condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and will support the Lieutenant Governor in improving the situation in the region.

Rana took part in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar.

Speaking to the media, Rana said, "The cabinet has condemned this incident. It is a very sad incident. We share our condolences with the victims. As law and order come under LG, we will support in improving the situation here."

"J-K has united for the first time. Moving beyond party, politics, religion and thinking, entire Jammu and Kashmir was closed today," Rana asserted.
