Ahmedabad, April 30 -- Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi on Wednesday stated that the administration has demolished illegal encroachments where Bangladeshis have been found to be residing illegally.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation organised a demolition drive against the illegal Bangladeshis living near the Chandola Lake. Over 180 Bangladeshi intruders were identified by the officials in the presence of more than 2000 police personnel.
He further said that the state government will make sure the land is emptied, which is occupied by the illegal Bangladeshis.
"We have demolished (illegal encroachments) in the area from where illegal Bangladeshi nationals were caught... We will make sure the government land is emptied", Harsh Sangh...
