New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Union Minister for Railways and Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw lauded the India-US trade deal, where Washington reduced the tariffs on India to 18 per cent, describing it as a "win-win deal" that will benefit citizens and industries of both countries.

In a post on X on Tuesday, following the announcement, which came after a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vaishnaw highlighted the importance of the partnership between the two countries, emphasising that the deal will also foster collaboration in technology and development.
