Patna, July 22 -- Speculation over the next Vice President has already started following the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankar, with certain Bharatiya Janata Party leaders in Bihar welcoming the possibility of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being considered for the post.
Bihar Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Prem Kumar said that while the party will decide on Dhankar's successor, he would be quite happy if someone from Bihar is chosen for the post.
"The party decides this. Whoever becomes the VP will be on them. I will be happy if someone from Bihar becomes the Vice President," the minister told reporters in Patna.
