Patna, June 22 -- RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.
In an exclusive interview with ANI, Yadav demanded that Home Minister Amit Shah issue a written affidavit guaranteeing that Nitish Kumar will serve a full five-year term as Chief Minister if the NDA returns to power.
"BJP leaders might say they will make Nitish the Chief Minister and contest the election under his leadership. But if they truly mean it, then please ask Amit Shah Ji to give it in writing as an affidavit that Nitish will remain Chief Minister for the full five years?" Yadav told ANI.
