Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- BJP leader CR Kesavan on Monday lashed out at Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi, questioning his refusal to file an affidavit under oath to substantiate his allegations and claims against the Election Commission.

Reacting to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar's remarks on the matter, Kesavan said Rahul Gandhi was indulging in "cheap drama and theatrics" instead of following due legal process.

Speaking to ANI, Kesavan said, "The persistent doubt and nagging suspicion in our people's minds is why Rahul Gandhi dodges and why he runs away from filing an affidavit under oath to substantiate his claims and allegations, because that is the established procedure of the law of the land.
