New Delhi, Aug. 9 -- Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Saturday attacked the Modi government, accusing it of stopping Operation Sindoor "under pressure" and alleged that the ruling coalition "capitulated very soon" after Pakistan escalated the conflict and India gave an appropriate response.

The Congress leader referred to remarks of Air Chief Marshal AP Singh today in which he said the Indian Armed Forces destroyed at least five Pakistani fighter aircraft and one large aircraft during Operation Sindoor.
