Port Louis, March 11 -- Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navinchandra Ramgoolam hailed the visit of PM Modi to Mauritius and thanked the Indian government for its wide-ranging activities in the country aimed at further developing Mauritius. He reiterated the historic significance of the deep rooted cultural ties between the two countries and thanked the Prime Minister for extending the OCI cards to the citizens of Mauritius.
In his remarks at the Indian community event, the Mauritius PM said, "It is very rare for politicians like us not to be able to say what you want to say. I am bereft of words because I am so touched by the gesture of Prime Minister".
