Thoothukudi, Sept. 14 -- Tamil Nadu Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare Minister Anitha Radhakrishnan on Sunday slammed Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief and actor turned politician Vijay, asking whether he has done anything for the youth of the state.

Radhakrishnan mentioned that Vijay, as an actor who earns 200 to 300 crore rupees per film, has not done anything for the people. He stated that it is easy to question others without having done anything oneself. In contrast, he said the Chief Minister, MK Stalin, is taking all necessary steps to do good for the people.

"Has Vijay, to date, done any favours for the people of Tamil Nadu, its youth, its workers, or its fishermen?," Radhakrishnan told reporters.
