New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Following the protest by members of Valmiki Samaj and Dalit Mahapanchayat against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, which resulted in the vandalism of AAP's election campaign van, the Delhi BJP asserted that the incident reflected public anger rather than "hooliganism."

The Delhi BJP said, "Today, the Valmiki community and the Dalit Mahapanchayat boycotted Arvind Kejriwal and burnt his effigy, saying - Kejriwal has betrayed us, we will not give him a chance now. Arvind Kejriwal, who has cheated the Dalit community for ten years, is now clearly afraid of defeat, with the fear of defeat clearly visible on his face."
