New Delhi, April 14 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sudhanshu Trivedi on Monday attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's statement on the Waqf Amendment Act and said that the state is moving towards anarchy under the TMC chief's rule.

"Under the constitutional system of India, will Mamata Banerjee allow that a district panchayat does not follow the law of the West Bengal Assembly? Then how can a state not follow the law of the central government? This clearly shows that the Constitution is not important to the INDI alliance and Mamata Banerjee. West Bengal is moving towards anarchy under the rule of Mamata Banerjee at the hands of the miscreants," Trivedi said in the national capital.
