New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally received the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan who arrived in India on Monday for an official visit.

PM Modi went to the airport to personally welcome the UAE President, highlighting the close ties between the two leaders and the strong bilateral relationship between India and the UAE.

Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister said, "Went to the airport to welcome my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. His visit illustrates the importance he attaches to a strong India-UAE friendship. Looking forward to our discussions."
