Hyderabad, March 18 -- Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday that the Congress Party would fight in Parliament for the 42 per cent reservation bill to be included in the ninth schedule.

Speaking to ANI, Prabhakar said, "We passed the 42 per cent reservation bill yesterday in the assembly, which was based on a survey. We hope that in the coming days, the central government will also implement it through the 9th schedule... We will fight in the Parliament, and the government will be forced to pass it..."

Earlier in the day, Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said that the passage of the bills was 'revolutionary' and said that the Congress Party would ensure a caste census in India.
