New Delhi, July 30 -- After US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday a 25 per cent tariff and additional penalty on India, Congress MP Manickam Tagore said on Wednesday it is the failure of the Modi government, stressing that India should not surrender before the Americans on their terms.

Speaking to ANI, Tagore asserted that Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi has been warning of the same things.

"It is a failure of the government of Mr Modi. We can see from yesterday itself and LoP Rahul Gandhi has been warning of the same kind of things. He has been saying that the way we have been dealing with our foreign policy, we have fumbled it, and the EAM has failed it...
