Kolkata, April 7 -- After the Ram Navami Shobha Yatra in Barasat, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty on Monday said that the people should be proud to say that they are Sanatanis.

"This is the day of Ram Navami, the day of God, all Sanatanis have come under one roof, this is the happiest thing. We have been saying this repeatedly that we should be proud to say that we are Sanatanis," Chakraborty told ANI.

Reacting to TMC leader Kunal Ghosh's remarks that Hindu-Muslims are walking together is Mamata Banerjee's model, he said that they must be "joking."
