Hyderabad, June 30 -- After resigning from the BJP over reports that Ramchander Rao is set to be appointed as the new BJP state president for Telangana, MLA T Raja Singh on Monday refused Rao's elevation and said that the party leaders and booth-level workers need a state chief who is aggressive and talks about Hindutva.
Speaking to ANI, Raja Singh said, "I always keep telling the party that the BJP can form a government in Telangana. Today, the party workers, booth-level workers, are working for the party. However, when it comes to the declaration of the state BJP president, the party should consider what kind of person should be appointed as the state president."
