Bhubaneswar, Jan. 28 -- Odisha is poised to become a major industrial hub, with Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announcing that the state has received investment proposals worth three times its initial expectations.

This development comes after Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Utkarsh Odisha - Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, where he encouraged investors to capitalize on Odisha's vast potential.

The state had initially anticipated investments worth Rs 5 lakh crores, but the actual proposals exceeded this amount threefold.
