Hyderabad, March 20 -- Miss World will return to India in its 72nd edition as Telangana is set to host the prestigious beauty pageant in May this year.

Director of the Miss World Organisation, Steve Douglas Morley, visited Hyderabad to review the preparations for the event and expressed his happiness over the state's diversity and beauty.

"We saw the state...the Principal Secretary showed us the beauty and the diversity that is here. We were so impressed. We're having a show here...you can't get more impressed than that," he told ANI.

Morley also praised the cuisine of Hyderabad and the warm welcome he received from the people after arriving in the city.
