Chandigarh, May 16 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Malvinder Kang on Friday highlighted the party's commitment to tackling the drug menace in Punjab, recalling the promise made by AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann before the 2022 elections.
"Before the 2022 elections, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann made a commitment that we would work to eliminate drug abuse in Punjab. The way Punjab was earlier pushed into drugs by providing political patronage was unfortunate. We are working to bring a change," he said.
