New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya hailed the nation's growth under the BJP-led central government in contrast to the previous government, during the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Addressing the assembly, Surya said that the President's speech assumes significance as India is growing economically, "despite the global economic slowdown."
