Bengaluru, May 25 -- A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Karnataka staged 'Kalaburagi Chalo' demanding removal of Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge from state Cabinet over the Chittapur incident, Congress leader and state minister Sharan Prakash Patil on Sunday accused the BJP leaders of "unnecessarily provoking" other leaders.

"... They (BJP) are responsible for the situation, as they (BJP) unnecessarily provoke other leaders. Whatever happened in Chittapur was neither provoked by Priyank (Kharge) or any other Congress leaders..." Patil told reporters on Sunday.
