Haridwar, June 8 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed farmers during a rally in Haridwar on Sunday, highlighting various welfare schemes aimed at boosting agricultural development.

"Today, numerous welfare schemes are being implemented for the benefit of farmers. Recognizing agriculture as the backbone of development, the Kisan Credit Card limit has been raised to Rs 5 lakh," CM Dhami said.

During the rally, he also emphasized the government's commitment to the progress of the farmers.
