Chennai, Jan. 10 -- BJP leader Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday slammed the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin regarding the delay in the censor certification for the actor-turned-politician Vijay's film, 'Jana Nayagan'.
Speaking to ANI during Pongal celebrations, she asserted that the Congress and DMK have no moral authority to criticise the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), citing the Congress's history of "stifling freedom of expression" during the Emergency and their past record of banning films.
"... Tamil Nadu CM has no moral responsibility to talk about incidents like the central sensor board because it is an independent body...," she stated.
