West Siang, April 5 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday attended the Mopin Festival, a vibrant and sacred celebration of the Galo tribe, held at Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh's West Siang district.

CM Sarma thanked Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu for the invitation and expressed his gratitude.

"It was a privilege for me to attend the Mopin festival earlier today. I am extremely grateful to Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri @PemaKhanduBJP Ji and the vibrant Galo community for inviting me to this celebration of Prakriti, Shakti and Samriddhi," Sarma said in a post on X.
