Durgapur, Oct. 14 -- Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Women, Sovana Mohanty, on Monday urged West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to ensure that the Durgapur gangrape survivor receives the best possible medical care and called for the case to be moved to a fast-track court to ensure swift justice.
Speaking to ANI, Mohanty said, "The victim is currently undergoing treatment. I urge West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to ensure that the victim receives the best possible medical care. Those responsible for such heinous acts must be tried in fast-track courts to ensure swift justice for the victim."
