New Delhi, Feb. 5 -- After Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) initiated action against employees adhering to non-Hindu religious practices while working in the institution, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Wednesday that such actions send a very wrong message and called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to reconsider his position.
The Hyderabad MP also questioned the basis on which Naidu's Telugu Desam Party is supporting the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, in the wake of this decision.
