Patna, Sept. 12 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday launched a scathing attack on the "failed" law and order situation in Bihar, stressing the current status of corruption in the state.

The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly mentioned that the crime rate is at its highest in Bihar, and no action is being taken and pointed to incidents like the killing of Kharauli MLA's driver, claiming crime is at its peak in Bihar.

He highlighted cash recoveries from engineers' homes as evidence of widespread corruption. He accused the Bihar government, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, of protecting criminals, emboldening them.
