New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and candidate from the Kalkaji assembly, Ramesh Bidhuri, has strongly criticised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for alleging that the BJP attempted to poach its candidates ahead of the Delhi Assembly election results.
Claiming that AAP has "accepted defeat" and will later claim discrepancies in EVMs, Bidhuri told ANI, "They (AAP) have accepted defeat. They will later say that the EVM was faulty... How long will this continue?"
He demanded a thorough investigation into the claims of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal saying that an 'Operation Lotus' has been launched by the BJP to poach AAP candidates, offering Rs 15 crores to them for switching.
