New Delhi, July 29 -- Amid the ongoing debate in the Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Congress MP Karti Chidambaram on Tuesday suggested that Bharatiya Janata Party should focus on current events rather than obsessing over allegedly "twisting" events that occurred in the past.

Speaking to ANI, Chidambaram said, "The External Affairs Minister should have confined himself to Operation Sindoor and the diplomatic aftermath of it. The problem with the BJP is that they always drive by looking in the rearview mirror; they don't look forward. They are always obsessed with twisting events that happened in the past. They should focus on what is happening right now."
