Murshidabad, April 19 -- Launching scathing attacks on the West Bengal government over Murshidabad violence, BJP MLA Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhury on Saturday accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of failing to maintain law and order in the state, alleging that "pro-terror groups" have exploited young boys to instil fear and disrupt communal harmony.

Speaking to ANI, Chaudhury further alleged that the state police have turned a blind eye, and that the Mamata Banerjee government is sheltering elements fuelling terror and disharmony in the region.
