New Delhi, March 25 -- The much-awaited Malayalam film 'L2: Empuraan', directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, is set to release on March 27. The film will share the box office with Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar, which is set to hit theaters on March 30.

During a recent press conference for his upcoming action thriller, which also stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Prithviraj clarified that there "is no competition" between the two films and also wished 'Sikandar' success.

"Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in the country, and there is no competition between the two movies. I hope it becomes a blockbuster," said Prithviraj.

"I will have no complaints if you watch L2: Empuraan at 11 a.m. and Sikandar at 1 p.m.," he added.
