Kolkata, March 20 -- BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul on Thursday slammed the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, demanding the President's rule in the State as there is "complete lawlessness" under the TMC regime.

Paul's comments echoed West Bengal LoP and BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari's statement, in which he called for President's Rule in West Bengal, citing "complete lawlessness" in the state. Adhikari expressed concerns that if the current situation persists, free and fair elections may not be possible by 2026.
