New Delhi, Dec. 11 -- BJP MP Jagdambika Pal lambasted Rahul Gandhi for staging a walk-out after a heated debate on electoral reforms with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

Jagdambika Pal questioned Rahul Gandhi for "fleeing" from the Lower House in the middle of Amit Shah's speech, asserting that the people are watching those who "abandon" the field.

"Then why did he leave? People who flee, abandoning the field, the country is watching," he said on Thursday.

The BJP MP further backed Amit Shah for his speech on electoral reforms, saying that the latter "held a mirror" against all the questions raised on electoral reforms and SIR.
