Chennai, Oct. 27 -- A petition filed by TVK complaining about "onerous" conditions imposed by the police for its political campaigns has been listed before the Chief Justice's Bench of the Madras High Court, the party's advocate Arivazhagan said on Monday, adding that the State government agreed before the Court that it would frame guidelines for political campaigns on or before 11th November.

"On behalf of TVK, we have filed a writ petition for seeking a direction to the DGP to grant police permission in the event of political parties making applications to the concerned police officials within the time frame by the police department," advocate Arivazhagan told ANI.
