Jammu, April 10 -- Former Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir, SP Vaid, on Thursday expressed his strong support for the extradition Tahawwur Rana, one of the key accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, calling it a major achievement for the Indian government and its agencies.
In his statement to ANI, Vaid said, "Tahawwur Rana's extradition to India is a huge achievement of the Indian Government and agencies."
He emphasized the significance of holding Rana accountable saying, "This attack carried out at the behest of Pakistan's ISI claimed the lives of 166 people. This is why it is very important to hold Tahawwur Rana accountable."
He also highlighted the need to connect multiple links in the investigation.
