New Delhi, July 22 -- Amidst the ongoing political turmoil over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Bihar, BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy slammed the opposition over the issue, stating that they have a "strong aversion to the Constitution."

He stated that the opposition went to the Supreme Court but could not stop the SIR, hence they are attempting to disrupt the Parliament.

"Opposition has a strong aversion to the Constitution. Parliament and the Supreme Court are constitutional institutions. They went to the Supreme Court, and when they couldn't stop it there, they are now trying to obstruct it in Parliament. This is against democratic norms", he said.
