Amritsar, Feb. 25 -- After a Delhi court sentenced former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar to life imprisonment in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday welcomed the verdict and called for strict action against the remaining accused.

Speaking to ANI, Chugh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for forming the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in 2014 to reinvestigate the case.
